The first RollerCoaster Tycoon sequel did not manage to live up to its high expectations. On the other hand if the sequel differs too much from the original, the game is at risk to lose that special feature that made it unique in the first place. Making it too similar to the original might disappoint fans because there are no novelties. Making a sequel for a beloved game is one of the most challenging jobs for a developer. This game redeemed its predecessor and lived up to the high expectations that the first entry in the franchise set.
